If there’s an issue with a transaction, users can flag it to indicate that it needs further attention by the organisation. When flagging a transaction, you can also add extra details in the notes field.
Depending on your account settings, you’ll have various “Flag Reasons” to choose from for each transaction:
Out of Policy: This is the default flag reason. An "Out of Policy" transaction indicates a business expense that has breached internal company policy. Despite this, the expense will still be recorded in the company’s accounting exports as a business expense.
Private Expense: "Private Expenses" are personal, non-business-related transactions made with a Pliant card. These are also recorded in the company’s accounting exports, and cardholders do not need to provide accounting information or receipts for these expenses.
To flag a transaction, simply use the chip on the transaction detail view and follow the on-screen instructions. Only Team Managers (with the necessary permissions) or admins can later manage flagged transactions, meaning they are the only ones able to resolve them.
