Overview
The Transaction Count Limit feature helps you control how many purchases can be made with a card within a given period of time.
Currently, this feature is available only for Travel Purchasing Cards.
How it works
The limit defines the maximum number of transactions a cardholder can make during the set time period. Once the limit is reached, the card is automatically locked and cannot be used anymore in the current period - unless the limit is adjusted.
Card checks (e.g., verification or authorization checks) do not count toward this limit.
The time period for this limit matches the one chosen for the card’s overall spending limit.
By default, the limit is set to 2 transactions for the lifetime of the card. You can adjust this number at any time to fit your use case. Deleting the value results in setting no transaction count limit for the card. For added protection against fraud, we recommend keeping the default value whenever possible.
