What is covered?
This benefit reimburses you for Non-Refundable prepaid Eligible Travel Expenses if a covered loss prevents you from traveling on or interrupts your trip.
Covered reasons include Accidental Bodily Injury, Loss of Life, or Sickness experienced by you, a traveling companion, or an Immediate Family Member.
It also covers Severe Weather, quarantine, jury duty, a change in military orders, hijacking, your residence being made uninhabitable, and specific Terrorist Incidents or Travel Warnings.
What are the coverage limits?
You are covered for up to $10,000.00 per Covered Person and up to $20,000.00 per Trip.
The maximum benefit paid out in any twelve (12) month period is $20,000.00.
What is not covered (Exclusions)?
A simple change in plans, financial circumstances, or business/contractual obligations.
Pre-existing conditions, or travel arrangements scheduled after the 26th week of pregnancy.
Traveling for the purpose of obtaining medical treatment, or disinclination to travel due to an epidemic, pandemic, or civil unrest.
Failure to obtain necessary visas, passports, or travel documents.
Losses due to being under the influence of any narcotic, legal recreational marijuana, or controlled substance (unless prescribed by a Physician).

This benefit is issued and managed by the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies, located at 202B Hall's Mill Road, Whitehouse Station, New Jersey 08889.
How to Claim
To file a claim for a canceled or interrupted trip, please visit our dedicated claims portal at: https://pliant.claimservicing.com/trip-cancel.
Tip: Please reference Policy Number 9912-2480. You must contact the Benefit Administrator within ninety (90) days of the date your trip was disrupted. Be prepared to provide your travel itinerary, documentation confirming the reason for cancellation (e.g., medical documents or death certificate), an account statement showing the last 4 digits used to purchase the trip, copies of the cancellation/refund policies of the travel providers, and any unused vouchers or tickets.
