Claude: set up Pliant MCP for your organization (admins)

One-time setup for the Owner of a Claude Team or Enterprise organization.

This article is for the Owner of your Claude organization (Team or Enterprise plan). It covers the one-time setup that makes Pliant available to everyone in your Claude organization. For individual steps, see Connect Pliant MCP to Claude.

What this does and does not do

Adding the connector makes Pliant available to pick for everyone in your Claude organization. It is not a shared login: each person still signs in with their own Pliant account and only sees what their own Pliant role allows.

Step 1: Turn on Pliant MCP in Pliant

A Pliant organization admin activates the Pliant MCP tile in Settings > Modules. Turning it off later revokes access for everyone, in Claude and in every other connected tool.

Step 2: Add the connector in Claude

  1. In Claude, open Organization settings > Connectors and choose Add custom connector.

  2. Name it Pliant and enter the server address https://mcp.getpliant.com/mcp.

  3. Open Advanced settings and enter the Client ID and Client Secret from Pliant. They are shown in Pliant, or contact Pliant support.

  4. Optional: require approval for tools that change data (for example code_transaction, split_transaction and update_card), so your team confirms before anything is written.

Once Pliant MCP is listed in Claude's connector directory, you will select it there and skip the credentials.

Step 3: Tell your team

Managing access

  • Turning off the Pliant MCP module in Pliant revokes access immediately for your whole organization, across every connected tool.

  • Removing the connector in Claude's organization settings stops new people from connecting, without touching Pliant.

  • Neither action deletes conversation history already stored in Claude.
