What can Pliant MCP do?

An overview of what you can do with Pliant MCP, in six areas.

Pliant MCP has 41 tools in six areas. Read tools never change anything. Write tools change data and ask for your approval first in most AI tools.

The six areas

  • Organization: who you are, the organization profile, expected monthly spend, card accounts with limits and balances.

  • Members and teams: search members and teams, invite and deactivate members, create teams, set budgets and permissions, manage membership.

  • Cards: list cards, see details, controls and additional limits, lock and unlock, change limits and controls.

  • Transactions and spend: search transactions, exact counts for review and export status, spend analysis, top cards, merchants, account entries.

  • Receipts: list and view receipts, and find the receipt inbox address. With an email connector such as Gmail in your AI tool, the assistant can forward receipts to that address.

  • Coding and accounting: comment, team, project, supplier, category, custom fields, splits, and creating and editing suppliers, projects, subcategories and VAT rates.

The full list

Every tool with one line each is in the developer documentation. We keep that list up to date as we add tools.

Missing something?

We are adding tools in bundles, for example card requests and approvals, receipt management, statements and review actions. If you need something specific, tell Pliant support. For issuing cards and other sensitive actions, see Pliant MCP Pro.
