Connect Pliant MCP to Antigravity CLI

How to connect Pliant MCP to the Antigravity CLI (agy).

This article covers connecting Pliant MCP to the Antigravity CLI (agy).

Before you start: an organization admin has to turn on Pliant MCP once, for the whole organization.

  1. Go to Settings > Modules in Pliant.

  2. Find the Pliant MCP tile and activate it.

Turning the module off later revokes access for everyone and does not delete conversation history already stored in your AI tool.

What you need

You need the server address https://mcp.getpliant.com/mcp and your Client ID. There is no secret for this tool. Your Client ID is shown in Pliant, or contact Pliant support and we send it to you.

Connect

Step 1. Add the server:

agy mcp add pliant https://mcp.getpliant.com/mcp

Step 2. In ~/.gemini/config/mcp_config.json, add this to the pliant entry (replace the Client ID):

"oauth": { "clientId": "<CLIENT_ID>" }

Step 3. Start agy, run /mcp, choose pliant and select Authenticate.

Step 4. Sign in and select Allow. The browser then shows an authorization code. Copy it into the agy prompt and nowhere else.

Check that it works

Ask your assistant: "Which Pliant account am I connected as?" It should answer with your name, organization and role.

If something goes wrong

If sign-in fails immediately, you may have an open Pliant session in your browser. Open https://login.getpliant.com/v2/logout and try again.

Still stuck? Contact Pliant support with your tool, its version and the exact error text.

For all configuration details and the full tool list, see the developer documentation.
