In the Pliant Cardholder App, either on the web or mobile, you will be able to easily track all your card transactions in real time. If you want to learn more about the different transaction states (PENDING, DECLINED, etc.) or different types of transactions (for example REFUNDS or CHARGEBACKS) you can find more information in this article.
For each transaction, you will see useful information as with which card and which merchant the transaction was made. We also automatically show you which payment category of the transaction falls in (for example, 'Advertising & Marketing' or 'Food & Drinks').
Usually, your organization will require you to upload a receipt for each transaction. Receipts can be easily uploaded via the web app or mobile app, or by using Pliant's Receipt Inbox. You can find more information about this here. You can easily see all transactions for which a receipt is still missing by using the filter button on top of the transactions page, which also shows the number of missing receipts.
In line with the guidelines of your finance team, you might also be encouraged or required to support the accounting process of your company by selecting the correct values for each of the activated accounting fields, like for example subcategory (G/L account), VAT rate, or team (cost center). After the transaction is booked you can get your remittance copy by downloading the CSV file from the respective month under Billing -> Statements.
