Top-up for Credit Accounts

Hybrid Accounts allow credit organisations to top up their balance with additional pre-funded money.

Updated over a week ago

Designed specifically for credit organizations, this feature brings the added advantage of a 'top-up' functionality, allowing organizations to easily add funds to their accounts.

How to Top Up Your Account

You'll find a Top Up' button on your organization's Dashboard and the billing page, positioned in the top right corner.

Important: Please get in touch with our customer support if your account has a credit line, but you don't see the Top-up buttons on the dashboard and billing page.

Your Pliant bank details will be displayed upon clicking the 'Top Up' button. You can then send money to these bank details. Please use bank accounts with the same name as your organization name, and don't send money from payment providers such as Pay Pal. Otherwise, the transfers will be rejected, and the original amounts will be returned to the sender's bank accounts.

Reflection to Balance

Once the top-up is complete and approved by us, the available balance will reflect the added amount.

If there is already a spent amount in your credit limit. The top-up amount will be firstly used for recovering that outstanding balance. If you send more than your outstanding balance, the surplus amount will be added as a prefunded balance.

Pliant will use the prefunded amount first and later use your credit amount when you spend money.

You can monitor your top-ups on the Billing page under the respective statement section.

Understanding Your Balance Bar

On the Dashboard, the balance bar visualizes the funds. The blue section of the bar represents the credit limit provided by Pliant. Meanwhile, the green portion indicates the amount the organization has topped up.

Usage of Topped-Up Funds

It's essential to understand the allocation of the topped-up funds. Initially, the topped-up amount will be directed toward clearing any outstanding balance from the credit limit. Once that is settled, any surplus from the top-up will be credited as a prefunded balance in the organization's account.

This intuitive system ensures you are always aware of your finances and can manage your funds clearly and precisely.
