Accessing your user account securely with 2FA (via SMS or device pairing)

When registering, each user needs to provide a mobile number. This mobile number will be used for securely accessing your account with your mobile phone as a second factor for authentication.

The mobile number as a second authentication factor will also be used for 3D Secure when making card transactions.

The mobile number can be changed at any time from your user profile in the pliant web app. You can find the user profile by clicking the user menu in the top right corner of the admin app or cardholder app (see also here).

For the mobile app, it is also possible to pair a mobile device to your account which then can be used as a second factor for accessing the account instead of receiving an SMS. The mobile device as a second factor can soon also be used for accessing the web app. Find out more about pairing and unpairing a mobile device here.
